Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// Stickers for Bottles

The Bottle in total is 12cm top to bottom 7cm wide 3.2cm deep. These stickers are 6cm wide and I would say about 4-5cm high. Nigel and I are hoping to print them onto a glossy paper, We don't want our stickers to be on a dull, flat stock.

The next best idea that was thought up was to get black 'Ted Baker' cabs into Paris. As you might have seen on my design context blog I thought up other was of getting Ted Baker recognised in Paris. Having a Black Cab with Ted Baker Written across it was a great idea as this would really turn heads. Being that the Black Cab is a very strong icon of London and so the UK. From live tracing a vecor shell I found on the internet for the cab. I have started to work in to a Ted Baker Black Cab.

Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// Packaging Actual Size & Mock UP

Mock-up Packaging

Above is the net printed out, not actual size, a couple of cm smaller, however the net does work fine, well almost fine. My cutting skills in this case were next to poor. Nigel and myself need to find something that will cut the packaging nicely. I don't want to use the laser cut as that will burn the edges and will make the packaging look unacceptable. Unless we are really, really careful using out craft knife we are going to have to find a better way to get a perfect cut.

Above are the actual size boxes. Not on my blog just to point out, but in Illustrator the packaging will fit the bottle. We managed to find the measurements of the packaging for the chanel 5 bottle online Considering we will be adding some other things inside I decided to give the packaging 1 more cm in hight. Just to make sure everything will fit in.

Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// We won the bottles!

Thankfully we won the auction for these 100ml Chanel bottles, these are crucial within our brief. In total we got FIVE bottle. We will also be getting 5 boxes and a Chanel Bag which will be great Primary Resarch. We won't know the measurements of the bottles until they arrive next monday. That was until we realised we could simply email the ebayer and get him to measure them. So all in all this buy has bee extremely successful.

Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// Final Designs for Packaging

Mens Cologne Packaging. (Not actual size)

Woman's Perfume  (Not actual size)

Overall Nigel and I are happy with the the designs for both men's and woman's packaging. As you can quite easily see it is very simple in terms of information on what is inside the packaging. Formulas inside the cologne etc. However considering we don't know what the contents is we can ass anything! Most of the research we have found on packaging is very similar to this design here, Very simple packaging with limited information. What to do next? I have booked a print slot for both Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday I am going to print out this packaging and I am going to do some experiments with foiling too. For the crit on Thursday I really want to have something printed out and done to show to my peers.

Start off with the most obvious idea, making the earth. Being 'The Global Common TB' you straight away think of the work!

Here is my final design for this brief, I'll be honest I didn't exactly enjoy this one too much as my design wasn't working too well! Colours where hard to find and I wasn't enjoying the devolepment too much. Time to find one that I will be more suited too.
