What Is Good// Re-Written Brief// GO CAMP! An Introduction to Camping

This brief I have really been struggling on so I thought it best to take a step back and widen it. For the past weeks I have slowly been working on a book simply called 'An Introduction To Camping'. This book was a singleton and nothing to do with anything. I have decided to make a campaign with a series of products, one of the products (the main product) being the book. The campaign will be called 'GO CAMP'. A campaign that sets about promoting camping to the masses. My job now is to make go camp work as a brand and a company.

Products & Possible Products:

  • Book
  • Business card
  • Clothing (T-shirt, beanie, jacket, gloves etc)
  • Promotional Poster
  • leaflet
  • Website
  • App.
RE-WRITTEN BREIF

Brief

It is up to you how you go about making something good appeal to your audience. Decide what it is that you consider to be good and go about promoting this, whether it be a sport of a favourite film the decision is up to you. Make a campaign for you chosen subject and discover products.
For submission and assessment you will also be required to select, summarise and evaluate appropriate primary & secondary source material and submit it in an appropriately designed and produce graphic format that reflects your cretaive and technical appreciation of graphic design.

Mandatory requirements

It is up to you to show an understanding of you chosen subject and to successfully promote it over a range of products. Tagging of the categories is essential. Failure to organise your research effectively may loose you marks.

Deliverables

Postings to your Design Practice and Design Context blogs demonstrating your ongoing research and methodologies.

Clearly tagged mandatory research areas will be used for assessment.

A series of products.

Go Camp will be a campaign that job is to promote camping. By looking into different products, I aim to make the book 'GO CAMP! "An Introduction To Camping" become recognised.
