Responsive// Secret 7"

And now you know my name
But I don't feel the same
But I ain't gonna blame
The rider on the wheel.

You know my song is new
You know it's new for you
I tell you how it's true
For the rider on the wheel.

And round and round we go
We take it fast and slow
I must keep up a show
For the rider on the wheel
For the rider on the wheel.

And now you know my name
But I don't feel the same
But I ain't gonna blame
The rider on the wheel

Inner Sleeve

Record

I am going to foil the back 'secret 7 logo' and I am going to print it on  medium weight stock.
The inner sleeve will be on a light brown, textured stock. I am going to find an old 7" record that I can play around with. I have made some stickers that will fit the dimensions of the label on the record.

Responsive// The Big Sleep// Bag

The bag is only black as I want to foil it. The Big Sleep will be in a either a red or black foiling and the penguin will be in a black or gold. I can't yet make my mind up on which colours I will go with but once this is printed and i have the different foiling colours in front of me I think it will be easy to know what I will want to go with.

Responsive// HellFire// Stickers

Above are my stickers ready to print and be inserted on to my bottles. I haven't yet bought my bottles but that will be something I will get round to this week. I want to find a brown bottle. I have decided to leave my label black and white as after a few experiments I began to realise that that colour scheme actually worked best. I quickly dis a small neck for the bottle, I'm not actually too sure how well this will work but I am sure if it doesn't the body will wok fine by itself.

Responsive// Ted Baker Collaboration// New Label for Bottle

This will be gold foiled on a light, white stock. Nigel and I figured that if we were to cut the labels ourself it would be much easier to make the label square. In fact as you can see from our experiments yesterday we had to cut the complicated shape out with a knife and however careful we were we could never make a perfect cut.

Type & Grid Workshop THREE// Frankenstein Type Task

TASK: 'Compile all letters of your Frankensteined alphabet over the next couple of weeks and apply to your spread task'

My chosen word from the list paul gave us is 'Ingenious'. Phil only have us a couple of seconds to chose as to make our choice random.

Ingenious : characterized by cleverness or originality of invention. cleverly inventive or resourceful: an ingenious press agent.

Fonts that suit the word Ingenious :
Best way to do this is by using FontExplorer X Pro

EXPERIMENTS

From changing the 'I' from Bickham Script: Pro Semibold and rotating it by 15 degrees over and over I was able to create this interesting shape above.
