My Brief : UK Greeting Cards

Why have I chosen to pick this brief?
  • I have chosen to pick this brief because I will give me a great chance to experiment with different ways of printing and finishing, for example Letterpress and Embossing.
What do I want to get out of it? 
  • A strong understanding of how to use letterpress and other printing techniques to execute work. Letterpress has been something I have wanted to do for years now, I feel like this is my chance to learn and create better work.
What do you want to make?
  • A range of cards that have been printed and embossed in different ways
Why do I want to enter the competition?
  • A chance to win would be great! I'm not to bothered though, as this is the first time I would have entered a competition I think it will be great experience.
What is the message?
  • Design a set of cards
  • Greeting card of your choice
  • Who are you sending the card to? 
  • Look for ways to make the card stand out
  • Use a range of finishes 
Who is the Audience 
  • Because its a Greeting card this could be anyone looking to buy a card for a friend or relative! Its up to the design of the card to determine the target audience.

What is the Problem?
  • They need greeting cards to send to their clients. 

 What is it asking you to do about it?
  • The brief simple wants you you to get your creative mind thinking about greeting cards. They want a young mind.

  • New Designs
